Dr Valentin

Dr Valentin Tioukavkin is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong background in both emergency medicine and primary care.

He completed his MBBS with Honours at the University of New South Wales in 1999 and spent several years working in NSW hospitals, predominantly in Emergency Medicine. He later specialised in General Practice and was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014.

Dr Valentin has a broad scope of practice and a particular interest in Men’s Health, Family Planning, Travel Medicine, Skin Cancer Checks, and chronic disease management, including diabetes.

He is highly experienced in procedural medicine and is one of the most experienced doctors at the practice. Dr Valentin has over 10 years’ experience performing circumcision procedures for both infants and adults, with consistently excellent outcomes. He also performs no‑scalpel vasectomies and a wide range of general practice minor surgical procedures, including tongue tie and lip tie releases.

In family planning, Dr Valentin provides comprehensive care, including the insertion and management of different types of IUDs, tailored to individual patient needs.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Valentin is actively involved in supervising and educating GP registrars undertaking specialist general practice training, reflecting his commitment to high‑quality patient care and medical education.
