Our Penrith Medical Centre endeavours to live by the values of when we first opened in 1990. These values are to ensure excellent healthcare to all our valued patients with a focus on physical and mental well-being. We have been servicing the Penrith, Kingswood and Lower Blue Mountains communities since 1990. We aim to provide high quality and affordable healthcare to anyone in the community who is in need. We do not discriminate and we aim to provide excellent healthcare to all patients with dignity and respect. We are a Bulk Billing medical centre and we take Walk In patients every day during our normal operating hours.
Your Own Local Super Clinic
Medical and Fitness Centre was founded in 1990 in order to provide BULK BILLING medical services to the local community. Our clinic has been providing quality healthcare over the generations from the Penrith and Lower Blue Mountains communities and the surrounding suburbs.
Since 1990, the facility has expanded greatly and our range of services has grown as well. Our clinic is structured around a core of dedicated and caring general practitioners. We have both male and female doctors all week round at your service when you need it most.
At our centre you will not only have access to our amazing doctors but the practice premises are shared with a Pharmacy, Dentist, Radiology (X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound), Optometrist next door. When you enter the medical centre you will have access to seven days pathology collection (blood collection), consultant Specialists such as Psychiatrists and Cardiologist and a number of other Allied Health professionals at the same location; such as Psychologists, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Podiatrist, Dietitian, Hypnotherapist and Naturopath.
Medical and Fitness Centre is an AGPAL accredited general practice. This accreditation certifies that we meet all of the standards which set by the RACGP and that we are committed to reviewing systems, processes and ongoing quality improvement.
After Hours Arrangements
If for some reason you are unable to consult with your regular general practitioner during normal business hours, we have an arrangement with Home Doctor Services for all of our after-hours care. You can contact them on 13 74 25. Just let them know we are your regular GP and they will send us a fax the next morning with an update. No matter what time of day or night, you will never be left out in the cold.
